Stag is connected to the 21st Gift of Authority. Which is a gift that is innate. If you speak and act from the heart, you will inspire loyalty in others wherever you go. Authority is a delicate balance between allowing things to go their own way, and assuming control of the way things are going.

Authority is a frequency that is determined by intent. If you assert Authority through a hierarchical base of the 21st shadow (of control), then you rule through control and fear, which never inspires true loyalty.

Authority cannot be asserted through will, but only afforded by trust. Some of the deepest relationships are formed between a person in authority, and another that appears to be submissive (dom & subs in BSDM). If both parties are in deep service of each other, than it transcends all stereotypes, and/or unhealthy bonds. When both parties are equally serving one another, the relationship becomes beneficial, balanced and powerful.

The relationship between authority and submission is that of yin and yang, masculine and feminine energies. Wherever there is authority, there is the masculine, and submission the feminine, which despite the cultural and social establishments has little to do with gender itself.

The key lies in the willingness of those in submission to be represented by the one who is chosen to be In authority. When the relationship works at a high enough frequency, the authority becomes the conduit of the will of their followers. Then transcendence occurs, and is founded on kinship rather than kingship.

Stag is connected to stamina, virility, grace, instinct, maturity, regeneration, and spiritual enlightenment. Stags are native to every continent (except Australia & Antarctica) they have a rich mythology and folklore.

Stag is non-aggressive unless provoked, they are the strong, silent types, with a genuinely peaceful spirit, yet will not back down if confronted. Though they can elegantly escape threatening situations before their adversary blinks.

Making mistakes, owning them, facing fears, and taking risks are stag qualities. Stag reminds us to use all our life experiences to lead an exalted life, and becoming an expert in our pursuits.

Stag will grow and shed antlers every year, making them a symbol of regeneration, and loss serves as a portal to a rewarding future. Stag reminds us that no matter how broken you feel, there is power to heal, reconnect, and transform your life.
