Spotted skunk (Spilogale Putorius, or S. pygmaea). Their hearing is acute but glad relatively poor vision. The S. pygmaea is considered one off the smallest carnivores native to Mexico and worldwide.

Skunk is connected to non-violence, self-protection, and meeting life with a calm and peaceful heart. Skunk is all about walking your talk, and setting examples through action.

Skunk reminds us that we have the courage to make right whatever wrongs we have done. Stand your ground, with a collected confidence, assert what you want without ego or assumption.

Skunk people know how to attract people, and are generally quite charismatic. Using energy to get what you want is a signifier of skunk, as well as talented in aromatherapy, and indicating danger in dreams.

Skunk is connected to the Life Key of boundaries of self-assurance

"As you accept life has it's own plans and flow, you stop interference with the process at the mental level. No technique can lead to this Gift – only life itself can show you how to let go.

" A quiet inner warrior, I draw firm boundaries around myself and am content to be left to go about my own business. I have a love of simplicity and do not seek fame or recognition. This is where my self-assurance springs from." – Richard Rudd
