Pig is a highly intelligent, simple, and humble creature connected to the earth, who appreciates what lies just below the surface. Pig teaches us to remember to play, enjoy and doesn’t enjoy the limelight, or care what others think because Pig is also often underestimated (esp among various religious groups that label Pig as unclean, unlucky and stupid).

Pig depends on their sense of smell, and can sense a foul wind, and adapts to the situation rapidly. Pig is rarely appreciated for their brilliance.

Pig is generous, and knows how to appreciate when you have more than enough, so look for ways to share the wealth. Pig calls for a more quiet self-awareness to access your ingenuity to pivot when life calls for it. Pig has a nose for opportunity, so make the most of the landscape around you. If it doesn’t yield nourishment, perhaps its time to move on.

Pig stands alongside the Goddess of Earth, Demeter, holding dominion over fruitfulness and abundance. Pig also represents fertility, honor, and compassion. Pig people have clear and distinct voices, and are capable of standing their ground with confidence in difficult times. Pig also can guide you when you find yourself with too many options, or need to move away from conflict.

Pig people opportunists, sociable, sincere and are drawn towards philosophy and independent thought. Pig are highly affectionate, enjoying nurturing and supporting the young. Pig people are likely attracted to wealth, but will work hard to achieve their 3D goals (however they are also typically big spenders).

"I am a creature of paradox. I contain the secret of the feminine. I hold the secret of prosperity. I hold the secret of love. Love is to place yourself in service to all, and then to honour your inner Truth. Every situation you find yourself in, it is there to humble you in some way, to crack you open so that you can hold a greater light. Let go of caring what others think of you." – Richard Rudd, The Dream Arc
